Trials bikes come in two basic forms,
the Stock and the Modified. Stock bikes are built off the
standard 26" wheeled mountain bike. Because Stock bikes
are generaly more easy to get (you probably already have
one) this is a great way to start into the world of Trials.
With just a few simple modifications or adjustments you
can turn your cross country steed into your first Trials
bike. You can also go all out and build an advanced stock
bike.
The Modified bike is a single purpose-built bike made especially,
and only, for Trials. While many uneducated folks might
mistake the Modified for a BMX bike, there are loads of
differences that set the Mod apart.
